The virtual building blocks, processes and outcomes for my online collaborative work and research project are sourced, created, exchanged, located, exhibited, critiqued and documented within the public space framework of an online community of practice via the internet.
In virtual public space we are able to transcend borders to explore our commonalities, differences and collaborate online with the people and issues that are important to us.
All aspects of the virtual creative process are accessible to the online community in an open time zone as we communicate throughout the day and night. Digital file sharing is almost instantaneous and online interaction surprisingly 'real'.

I have chosen this project specifically to better understand how we can adapt to the social, cultural and economic transformations associated with an online creative culture that exists without sharing a face to face physical space and community.

The public space of the internet allows us to communicate, create and share our work to anywhere in the connected online world. Sharing, exhibiting and selling work is all possible from one site, the internet.
